Can I give NEET (PG) after doing my B.Sc in Applied sciences? Do I have to give NEET (UG) in this situation?

Hi

No, you cannot give neet pg with Bsc degree.

This is because,

To be eligible for Neet PG you must have an MBBS degree as eligibility criteria says that

To be eligible you need to fulfill given below criteria :-

-) educational qualification requirement :- to be eligible one must possess an MBBS degree recognised by Medical Council of India

-) it is also mandatory to have MBBS qualification registration either permanent or provisional issued by MCI or State Medical Council i. e SMC

-) the aspirant should complete the one year internship by 31st March of the year in which attempting Neet PG i.e by 31st March 2021 in case of neet pg 2021

NEET UG is the entrance examination for mbbs, bds, ayush courses and bvsc . So, if you want to be a doctor you can appear for NEET UG entrance examination and to be eligible for it you must

have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.

And after clearing NEET UG , you can do MBBS and after the completion of your MBBS ,you become eligible for Neet PG and after clearing Neet PG you can go for MS or MD

The eligibility criteria for applying into NEET PG entrance exam states that the candidate must have completed mbbs degree or should atleast posses mbbs pass certificate with him/ her. So basically, mbbs degree is must for NEET PG application form. Bsc applied sciences will not help directly in NEET PG. So, you can apply for NEET UG, complete MBBS and then apply for NEET PG.
