Yes you can give UGC NET exam after M.Tech. The eligibility criteria to be appear for NET is to have master's degree. But in case of M.Tech holder, you do not need to qualify NET exam to teach in engineering colleges. However, qualifying NET Exam might be a good addition to your profile and make your CV more impressive. If you want to work in research field or lectureship, then you can appear for NET exam.
