Hi Vijay,
For masters in IIT you need to first give an exam called GATE, GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING. This exam is for either if you want to study further in IIT for Mtech, or if you want directly a class 1 job in psu. This exam is conducted once every year in between January to March and it's results are declared accordingly. 100 marks paper contains 65 questions. 30 marks for general aptitude and mathematics and rest based on your technical subject. JEE advance is for BTech in IIT and not for Mtech. For further information about gate this is a link, https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/psu-recruitment-through-gate .
Hope this helps. All the best.
