KCET 2016 Eligibility criteria:

 

1) Only students from karnataka and Jammu & Kashmir migrants are eligibile for appearing in KCET.

 

2) Candidates must have passed 12th class with Physics, Maths/ Biology, and Chemistry subjects with minimum of 45% of marks to be eligible

 

3) In between class 1st to class 12th applicant must have studies, for at least 7 years, in Government or Government recognized institution in Karnataka.

KCET exam makes you eligible for admission in colleges of only karnataka state( you need a domicile certificate too ) and not in the colleges of other states.
So if you want to get admission in colleges like RVCE,BMSCE,PES,MSRIT and if you are a candidate from karnataka then you can appear gor KCET 2018.
