Hello candidate. Both Information Technology (IT) and Computer Science Engineering (ECE) are same. There is nothing much difference between CSE or IT. Compared to CSE, IT syllabus is bit little. No need to worry, as CBIT college is good in all the aspects. Better go with IT in CBIT.

Hello Sri, There is not much difference between IT and CSe rather than a few core or elective subjects in the structure.

Basically IT is all about Software, but CSE is Software, Hardware, Operating Systems; and definitely CSE being a better ranged branch attracts Good Placement opportunities rather than IT. But the IT department in a very good college attracts better and more lucrative placements than the CSE of a lesser college.

CBIT is an excellent college in Hyderabad and one of the top amongst private engineering colleges in South India, and the placement scenario is quite good. Approx 3.5 lpa in average.

Choose whichever course you are more willing to, CSE is obviously better ranged and has wider applicability than IT.
