Hi,
   Yes definitely you can go for it sector . You can go for btech in it field. Its a good option for all the students and the scope is also there and yes the jobs too.

Yes you can definitely take some short computer related course into Ms Excel, Word, PowerPoint, C++, Java, Applications development to gain decent entry level position in startups. You can also go for Bsc IT Stream or take up CS engineering as well. You need to appear for entrance exams to be eligible  For Cs engineering.
