It would be helpful but it is advisable to complete your NCERTs first as these are the best source to build all the concepts clear and strong so it would be better if you make NCERTs your priority and once these are done then you can use Allen preparation material as reference one.

 

Apart from this, you can go for sample papers and previous year papers to check the difficulty level of questions along with actual paper pattern once you complete the syllabus.

 

Lastly, to learn time management skills during exam and to know what all weak and strong areas you have mock papers will play a vital role so you can practice topic, subject and full length test as much as you can.
