I would not advice you to study from cengage for jee mains. For jee mains choose a book of that level. Cengage has got really tough problems that will not be asked in jee mains. If you are targeting jee mains and nit advanced then start with jee mains level books then you can move up to cengage afterwards otherwise cengage would be too much for jee mains. For jee mains you need to practice more problems and increase your speed, cengage is not that kind of book. If your target is jee advanced also, then you can practice from cengage.

Yes, if you are looking to prepare for JEE Main and Advanced both then you can read and solve cengage publications maths book. But if you are preparing only for the JEE Main and not for the Advanced then, this book will be quite heavy for you as you will solving some of the questions that might not come in your JEE Main exam. You can consider solving RD Sharma or Arihant Publication book for JEE Main.
