can i shift my stream to computer science in mtech through gate after my graduation in btech bioinformatics? i mean , i would like to do my masters in artificial intelligence. but i am bioinformatics graduate.

Yes, you can do your MTech course in computer science or any other stream you are interested in after pursuing your BTech under graduation under biotechnology or any other branches.

As most universities(IITs and NITs) do not offer M.Tech in AI directly. Rather, they include this subject in M.Tech courses like CSE or IT. So, make sure that you visit their websites to see if some department offers this specialization or has some center related to this field or not
