Can I sit for placements in CS companies if I belong to ECE department?

Yes definitely most of the students from ece branch are placed in IT SECTOR...only few students who are really good in studies are placed in core companies ......mass recruiters are mainly of IT sector...so placements are done more in IT sector...all the best!
