You cannot directly study Cardiology immediately after MBBS, because it is a super-speciality (DM) course. To study Cardiology after MBBS, you need to qualify for an MD seat (through NEET PG ) and then appear for super-speciality entrance (for example, NEET SS ). After MBBS, you can directly opt for MD/MS branches based on your interest, such as MD General Medicine, MD Paediatrics, MD Radiology, MD Dermatology, MD Anaesthesiology, MD Psychiatry, MD Pathology or surgical branches like MS General Surgery, MS Orthopaedics, MS ENT, MS Ophthalmology, MS Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
