sir will this year low cuttoff n increase in 20k seats effect the opening n closing rankings? if yes then how?

Actually the thing is it depends on the which ranked student has applied for that particular seat. For example consider CSE at IIT-Bombay. Last year the top ranjer in JEE Advanced opted for that seat so the opening was from rank one. In case the no. 1 does not apply for the seat, and no. 2 does, the the no. 2 ranked will get the seat and the opening cutoff will show no. 2 allotted. I hope youre getting me. In this way the cutoff differs, depending upon which ranked student has applied for which seat. 20k new seats doesn't affect much of the cutoff ranks. Mostly it will hover around the last year ranks only. But will not strictly stick to it.
