School ID proof is not going work for a national level entrance exam. For Jee Main, you need to carry a Govt. Approved photo ID which is valid across India. It can be PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photo)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No./ Ration Card etc.
