Yes, any one of the original and valid photo Identification proofs issued by the government such as PAN card/ driving license/ voter ID/ 12th class board admit or registration card/ passport/ AADHAR card (with photograph)/ e-AADHAR/ ration card./ AADHAR enrolment no. with photo.

School ID proof is not going work for a national level entrance exam. For Jee Main, you need to carry a Govt. Approved photo ID which is valid across India. It can be PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photo)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No./ Ration Card etc.
