Hello krishnajith,

Yes, you can appear in gate if you are appearing. If you have passed b.tech then you have to clear your b.tech otherwise there is no benefit of GATE. you can't join for M.Tech or PSUs.

If you are not clear backlogs then why you focus on GATE. First you clear youe backlog.

Or you have to prepare both simultaneously.
