Ofcourse you can go for the 2020 JEE Main exam. But, why do you want to wait for that long. Starting from 2019, JEE Main would be conducted twice a year once in January and then in April. It would be better to atleast sit for April 2019 JEE Main exam so as to get an idea for the exam and exam pattern.

Also, you would require to meet the eligibility criteria in order to sit for the exam. We would suggest you to kindly check your eligibility criteria and then only wait for the JEE Main 2020.
