Yes, you can take the KCET exam even if you fail in Chemistry in your 2nd PUC (Pre-University College) exam. However, you will not be eligible for admission to any course if you do not pass your 2nd PUC exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. You can still attempt KCET, but your admission will be contingent on passing your qualifying exam.

KCET Eligibility:

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) requires candidates to have passed their 2nd PUC (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Appearing for KCET:

If you're awaiting your 2nd PUC results, you can still apply and take the KCET exam.

Admission:

However, your admission will only be finalized if you pass your 2nd PUC exam with the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).

Drop Year:

If you're planning to take a drop year and re-write your 2nd PUC exam, you can still take KCET during your drop year. Your 2nd PUC marks will be considered.
