Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is an entrance exam conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the government of Tamil Nadu.
Students from other states are also eligible to write the entrance exam If they meet the required qualifications. The candidates who will not be eligible to take the exams are :-

Candidates who have not obtained their B.Tech/B.E degree will not be eligible for TANCET 2020.

Any candidate who has obtained their degree without studying 10th, 12th or 3 years degree programme will be deemed ineligible for TANCET 2020.

The eligibility criteria for TANCET is as follows:

• The candidate should be Indian, and students from other states can also sit for the exam.
• Students those are in the final semester of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
• Students can also apply through GATE Scores without appearing for the entrance exam.

The application forms will be available from the first week of April 2021. Hope this helps.
