Is gokaraju rangaraju is an autonomous college? How good is the college?

Atrayee Gayen 9th Nov, 2020

Hey aspirant,

Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology is am autonomous college in Hyderabad, Telengana. It is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC ( 'A' grade ).

Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology is an overall good college maybe not the best like NITs, IITs and GFITs.

I am reviewing this college on the following parameters for you better understanding :-

Placements - Around 70-60% students get placed. Placements are more in the software courses like CSE. The highest package offered is around 42 LPA, and that is offered to the most skilled candidates. The average package offered is 3.3-3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS and Capgemini do visit the college

Faculty - Curriculum is efficient. Teachers are helpful sometimes. Some of them are really good. Faculty members are qualified and experienced. The students have to work hard to become industry ready and should not depend on the teachers. Extra effort has to be given to do well in interviews.

Infrastructure - Infrastructure is good overall. The classrooms and laboratories are good and well equipped. Campus is full Wifi. Only hostel facilities are not available.

Hope this helps,

All the best!

Which is better between CSE & ECE? tell with some facts

Aishwary Jaiswal 5th Sep, 2020

hello aspirant,

the facts that I have come across in my 3 years of academic life is the students of CSE are preferred over every other branch student mainly in private colleges for sure.

the placement rates for CSE students are better and more and more companies allow the CSE branch student to sit in the interview rounds.

what I have observed is, almost all the students from the computer science branch gets placed even will a low salary in hand, but yes, they get placed which does not happen with any other branch student or ECE student.

the placement rates may be high but that completely depends on the college placement rates.

but make sure that these students have opted for the CSE branch only if they have interest in the course and subjects in it, do not prefer the course if you have no interest, you may the exception .

hope that helps

all the best

For ECE course rajalakshmi vs rmk which is best?

Shreya shrestha 30th Sep, 2020

Hello there,

Both colleges are almost the same when we talk about placement. In terms of teaching , both have got well qualified staffs who are dynamic. In terms of exposure and extra curricular activities RCE tops the chart when compared with RMK.

In terms of food RMK will be better than RCE. In terms of dress code, communication, usage of mobile phones and laptops, REC is quite lenient when compared with RMK.

Good Luck!!
