Hello,

Karnataka state students cannot write AP EAMCET (EAPCET) under the general category. AP EAMCET is mainly for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana students.

However, if you meet certain eligibility criteria like local/non-local status, studied in AP for a specific period, or fall under specific reservation categories, you may be eligible.

Hope it helps !

Karnataka state students can appear for the AP EAMCET exam, but they'll be considered "non-local" candidates. This means they won't be eligible for seats under the Andhra Pradesh state quota.

To be considered a "local" candidate, a student must have completed their schooling (including the qualifying exam) primarily within the state of Andhra Pradesh. Since Karnataka students don't meet this criteria, they'll be classified as "non-local" candidates.

However, Karnataka students can still appear for the AP EAMCET exam and compete for seats under the all-India quota or management quota.

Hello!

As a Karnataka state student you need to know that your eligibility to write AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) stands unclear.

Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET

1. Nationality & Domicile:

The admission process allows Indian nationals with additional eligibility for OCI/PIO members.

AP EAMCET exists exclusively for students from Andhra Pradesh together with Telangana.

Non-Local candidates from all states have the option to compete for unreserved seats at private institutions under the 15% quota.

2. Educational Qualification:

The Candidates must meet these requirements: successful completion of Class 12 along with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.

Candidates need to achieve at least 45% marks for their class (40% for the reserved category students).

3. Local vs. Non-Local Status:

The Karnataka students who lack Andhra Pradesh domicile status must fill out the application form yet cannot qualify for government seats allocated through state quota.

Students must follow the non-local quota system to receive enrollment in private educational institutions.

What You Should Do:

Follow the rules by examining the current notification released by the AP EAMCET organization.

Call AP EAMCET helpline to confirm interpretation of your particular situation.
