Hope you are doing great. It is better you can take coaching because it makes you in a track with out diverting your attention with regard to the exam. Even, there are much people who scored top ranks with self study but wholly it is  matter of determination and to be focused. You can refer the book of Lucent's for static GK and for current affairs it is better you follow day to day news visiting the websites like affairs cloud and even reading the newspaper such as HINDU. For part of reasoning you can buy verbal and non-verbal reasoning book so that you can have practice everyday. Follow legal news even help you much.
