One can get good marks in NEET without joining any coaching institute. It's all the matter of hard work you do, your dedication towards your studies, and the right and to the point study material for the exam.

You don't have to restrict your day to day activities but have to minimize your time in leisurely activities and contribute more towards your studies.

Here are a few things you should keep in mind:-

1) Know your syllabus well and in depth knowledge of your syllabus

2) know the question paper pattern, marks distribution etc

3) Know the exact books to be referred to while your preparation eg. NCERT is a must for all the subjects, MTG question banks are really helpful and other books which you feel comfortable with

4) do practice a lot of previous year question papers

5) if possible do join a test series ( Allen test series are good and are not much expensive) as it'll help you to know your position in all India level from time to time before the actual exam

6) be focused and don't allow yourself to be distracted

Always remember that a good job now will yield you a good result in the time being.

Yes. It's possible to Clear NEET without coaching but you should have a rock solid base of concepts for that, especially in physics and chemistry,just go for good study materials from renowned coaching institutes and study according to it religiously, don't forget to give mock test and other test they provide, this'll help you to analyze your weak points, they are also present on internet if you can't afford the fees. You can also get a tons of good questions from previous year papers. Biology can be handled by NCERT but you have to cramp every line, yes “EVERY SINGLE LINE” including summary and intro of each chapter. At last you have to believe in yourself and your preparation.
