Students who have studied Class 8 – 12 outside Tamil Nadu can also apply for admission only if his/ her parents are the natives or residents of Tamil Nadu. These students must enclose the ‘Nativity Certificate’ along with the application form.
Only the above students are eligible for communal reservation in Tamil Nadu.
Students from other states can apply for B.Tech admissions in Tamil Nadu. However, these students will have a chance to secure admission in private engineering colleges subject to the availability of seats.
