First of all, TNEA is not an exam as the admissions are based on 12th merit and the process is conducted by Anna University so being an other candidate student you an apply for TNEA as you are eligible only for 2 colleges College of Engineering, Guindy and Madras Institute of Technology. Also, Fifty seats (including 1 seat for Kashmiri Migrant) are reserved for B. E. / B. Tech. Degree Courses in University Departments of Anna University, Chennai-25.
