Placements:For the placement of 2015-2017 batch, the placement was 100%. Most of them were placed in the MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Zoho, Caterpillar, ICCI Bank, HDFC Bank. The roles offered were a business analyst, business developer, HR and finance analyst. The companies visited the college for an internship, many got the PPO offers, and the highest stipend was around 15-25K.

Infrastructure:The infrastructure is good. We have a department in which every software is installed in the computer centre which helps the students to excess more knowledge. The hostel rooms are well-lightened and ventilated. The classrooms are good and are air-conditioned. We have a sports complex for indoor games and grounds for outdoor sports. NITT provide the free medical facility for the students. Apart from the department library we also have a central library. Also, there are swimming pool, cafe coffee day, and shopping complex.

Faculty:The faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. All the faculty have PhD. They follow the flexible curriculum. The classes are very interactive and based on the case-study. Guest lectures and conclaves are frequently conducted to give industry exposure to the students. DOMS provide business analytics and business analysis IT consulting as the minor, apart from the majors like marketing, finance, operations, HR.

Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at NIT Trichy started in 1978 and it’s the only institution which is funded by HRD Ministry among the NITs. The MBA program at NIT Trichy is divided into six trimesters. The institute offers MBA in Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations and General Management. A month internship is also offered at the end of the first year.

Ph.D (full-time and part-time) is also offered for the industry sponsored candidates.
