VITEEE 2021 is scheduled to take place from June 18 to 26. There will be no weightage to Class 12 marks and the admissions will solely be based on VITEEE 2021 scores. Candidates who will clear the entrance exam will be given ranks accordingly and admissions will be totally based on the merit list.
Last year, the VITEEE was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and candidates were admitted to undergraduate courses based on their Class 12 final exam marks and jee mains marks but rules are changed this year.

Earlier, VITEEE exam authorities said that they might accept the JEE Main/SAT score for Engineering seats, however, as per the latest update, VIT has specified that VITEEE 2021 score is mandatory to get admission in Engineering programmes offered by the Vellore Institute of Technology.
