Hope you are doing great. You may apply for EWS in counselling, but make sure you have the necessary documentation as a proof. You are eligible to apply for the EWS category in the JEE mains. The Central or State Counseling Authority will verify the EWS certificate at the counselling session. A candidate's admission will be revoked and they will be considered for admission under the General category if they are unable to present the EWS certificate. Your State's EWS Category is accepted all over India. Therefore, you can claim EWS reservation at both Central and State level counseling's if you have both an EWS reservation and a Certificate.
