If you wish to take admission in BAMS course then I must inform you that it is mandatory for every aspirant to qualify the NEET examination in order to become eligible for admission in courses such as MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS in India.

But there are certain colleges in Indian states such as Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu that offer BAMS courses without considering the NEET qualifying criteria. Here are the list of the colleges -

For admission in BAMS there are certain criteria that every candidate needs to fulfill, those are :

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks (for general category) and 40% marks (for OBC/ST/SC) in Science Stream having physics, chemistry and biology as core subjects
• Candidates must have passed in English Subject as well
• Candidates must have appeared for NEET and should secure qualifying marks for admission.
• Candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission
