Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is an entrance examination for various posts in Air Force such Flying branch, Ground Duty Technical and Ground Duty Non-technical. These are not research oriented jobs so AFCAT is not the right exam for you if you are interested in research. If you are interested in Research after completion of M.Sc you can appear for exams like IIT JAM, GATE, UGC NET depending on your education qualifications and other such exams to pursue PhD in the field in which you are interested.
