You can either apply for the jee mains the same year you are writing the twelth board exam or you can also write the jee mains after the board examination it depends on you. But if you qualify the jee mains then the same year the coming jee advanced is to attempted by you,.. This cannot be extended to the next year.

• At  least you should have complete explanation of answer of previous year question papers.

If you see the exam dates of jee main 2020 the first session was held in between January 6 to January 9.

The exam for April session will be arranged in between 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 Apr il 2020

Those candidates who will qualify the exam will be eligible to give JEE advanced whose most probable date is  May 17, 2020 .

So if you have all your concept and knowledge of subjects in class 11and 12 clear then with a hard and smart preparation you can give JEE main exam and JEE advanced exam in one year.
