Hello Mayank,

when jee main result is published , NTA board also releases the number of students eligible for JEE advance. the board also releases merit list for candidates. those who have name in that list are eligible and appear for JEE advance.

in year 2019, 161,319 candidates appeared for JEE advance paper 1 and paper 2. It will be approximately near for current year too.
