Dear Zafarulla, you haven't mentioned the reason why you want to pursue your 12th again. But if you want to pursue your 12th to improve your percentage, you can appear for improvement or betterment exams. Alternatively, just to answer your question, you can reappear for 12th. But what you need remember is you might lose out on an accademic year and it might cost you in the long run.

Hello your answer is utter wrong. In TN board no chance for improvement. We have to be with the mark what we got. Your answer is totally wrong. Official announcement came from our honourable education Minister for this. Only those who fail can write. If u know answer otherwise leave it. don't misguide

How about checking facts before criticising someone for the sake of having fun or killing your time and also assuming that everyone in the Univserse is the same? The word betterment has been used because Zafarulla hasn't failed her exams to quote it as Supplementary. TN board has Supplementary exams and will be conducted in the month of June according to an official statement. Technically she will be appearing for Supplementary exams to improve her score.
