Hello,

Yes, we can appear in KLEE exam without appearing in CLAT exam. The eligibility criteria for KLEE for 5 year LLB course is that

A candidate must have passed 10+2 or it's equivalent qualification with minimum of 45%(for candidates belonging to general category) for SC/ST candidates 40% and for SEBC candidates 42% from an institution recognized by the bar council of India.
A Candidate who have passed the 10+2 exam form distance education or correspond method are also eligible.
Candidates appearing in the 10+2 board exam in 2020 are also eligible to appear in the entrance test of KLEE 2020.
The candidate should be minimum 17 years of age and there is no upper limit

The Eligibility criteria for 3 year LLB course is that

A Candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST and 42% for SEBC candidates) from a recognized university.
Candidates who are going to appear in the qualifying exam in the academic year 2019-20 are also eligible to appear in the KLEE 3-year LLB entrance test.
There is no age limit for this course
