Maharshi Dayanand University Admissions are on a strict basis of Merit and entrance based. The university is a public state university where management quota or direct admissions are not taken. The university offers diploma, UG, masters, research, integrated, and certificate courses. A university conducted an entrance test for candidates to take admissions in a few courses based on which selection process occurs.

Maharshi Dayanand University admissions are divided into centralized and Non-centralized admissions. For centralized admissions to M.Pharm and M.Sc. MDU conducts MDUCEE.
