I hope you are doing fine. JEE Mains is an entrance exam for undergraduate Engineering and Architecture programmes in various colleges like IIITs/NITs etc. Students have various branches options of engineering. It is conducted by NTA. It is conducted twice a year, in month of Jan and April. JEE Mains also act as a hurdle examination for admission in IITs. JEE mains filter the candidates for the exam JEE advanced, which is given by students to take admission in various IITs.

It is an online(computer based) exam of 3 hours. It is consist of 75 question(25 maths + 25 Physics + 25 Chemistry). More than 12 lakhs students appear for JEE Mains every year.  There is also a Female quota in IITs/NITs introduced in 2018.
