UPSC prelims for this year is scheduled to take place on 4th October, earlier it was to be conducted on 31st May, which got postponed due to covid 19 pandemic, prelims consists of two papers of 200 marks each in MCQs format, the second paper CSAT is qualifying by nature while in the first paper candidates need to attain required cut-offs against their category, it's numbers are not added in the final list, Mains will take place from 8th January, 2021 onwards.
