Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary field that includes physics, maths, chemistry, and engineering. Combining all these technologies a new product is developed or some old product is modified, based on human and environmental needs.

The degree in M.Sc. further leads you to a job where one can get a really good salary such as in R&D field or you can teach in your favourite University(for that you need to qualify NET-LS Exam) or you can get a job in Intellectual Property Research and Patenting.
For jobs you can apply to Government or Private Sectors as well.

Apart from all this,you can also continue your studies to higher level.You can pursue Ph.D. Degree in India or in Abroad at top-notch institutions with scholarships after clearing some entrance exams.
