Numerous alternatives exist for what you may do with your land. You may construct a polyhouse with all the necessary equipment and cultivate unusual crops there. Even though they have a longer gestation period than cereals, plantation crops can nevertheless yield significant income for you. However, in order to get the most profit, you must first have a clear understanding of the type of land you have and the best crop to cultivate there. You may conduct market research on products that interest you and compare their costs all year long.

Another options :-

The majority of Indian agriculture is subsistence farming. Small farms are prevalent. Commercial agriculture or corporate farming is still relatively unknown in the nation. Millions of small farmers are involved in the production side. Therefore, there is less room for professions in production.

Then come marketing opportunities.

Warehouses and godowns are not equipped with enough storage space.

One of the biggest industries and a reliable source of employment nationwide is agriculture. Another important sector of the Indian economy is agriculture. Currently, students from all throughout the nation are choosing agriculture as their topic of study for future employment.

You won't have any problems while you're studying; in fact, getting a BSc in agriculture will be easy for you, and once you've earned one, you'll have a lot of work alternatives.

As there are many options available to you, such as preparing for banking examinations like IBPS, SBI, or nabard, it is a very good course that boosts your chances of having a decent profession after completing it. Additionally, you can attempt government competitive tests like the UPSC, FCI, IFos, AFO, etc.

Students studying agriculture have a wide range of job options in the public and private sectors.


Even if you choose greater education, your work prospects will be more favourable.


The primary requirement for pursuing a B.Sc. in Agriculture is that the applicant must have passed the 10+2 exam from a recognised institution with at least 50% of the required marks, or an equivalent. Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics are mandatory studies ( Science subjects ).

Farm manager, soil and plant scientist, agricultural economist, agricultural engineer, conservation planner, C ommercial grower; salesperson for agriculture, etc.
