There are various jobs and career opportunities available in public and private sectors for forestry graduates.

The public sector jobs includes work in zoological parks, wildlife ranges, wildlife research institutes, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Wildlife Department, Forest Department, National Parks and Sanctuaries, Forest Nurseries.

Those who have Bachelor's degree in Forestry can apply for the govt. job of Indian Forest Service, by appearing in an examination conducted by UPSC. You can also apply for post of lecturer.
