Cengage is only good for maths only  because I had solved Cengage maths & chemistry & I didn't found the book to be best for chemistry but it's best for maths only first follow NCERT chemistry  thoroughly than to solve numerics

for physical chemistry follow-V.K.Jaiswal

for organic chemistry, you may follow -M.S.Chauhan

for inorganic chemistry-Vijay Joshi.

Cengage can be considered for strengthening the core concepts and fundamental
there are lot of Question which are chapter wise and level of question of also are moderate to difficult.
So you can surely prefer cengage for chemistry.For all the three inorganic, organic and physical. as for Jee advanced cengage is best book because level of question and ellaborative theoretical topics makes the book best .
