IIT Jammu is a newly built college so, it's journey has just begun. The learning scope will be more as you'll automatically be a part of making the curriculum. Coming to the branch, chemical engineering branch started in 2018. So, it's fairly new and difficult to review or compare. The college is developing at a good pace. Morever you'll graduate with an IIT tag so, it is a big plus when it comes to placements anywhere.

The college started in 2016. So, the first batch will passout in 2020. Therefore the placements will start next year. However many internship oppurtunities are currently being provided to the students.
