What is the average package and placement record of NIT Suratkhal in chemical engineering? And is it possible to change branch easily?

Yes it is possible to change your branch after you join NIT.Your performance in the first year will judge this,and according to this you will be able to change your branch.But the chemical engineering is not a better option at NIT surathkal according to many alumni of the institute.They even tell that mining at NIT surathkal is better than chemical.So choose wisely.Thank You.

According to alumni reviews NIT Trichy is relatively better for chemical engineering aswell.
But I want to enjoy my time in one of these colleges and suratkhal is the best place to be...so will it be a mistake to take chemical at nit suratkhal?
