Hi

I think any branch in top college is more apt because see the major difference between branches is the opportunity to get high paid jobs. There is no doubt that the the job openings of civil engineering is less than computer science because of which most of the engineers learn coding and stuff to get absorbed in any IT sector. But When it comes to the tag of an IIT/NIT/BITS it matters more than your branch. Good college reforms you and makes your personality way better than you can think and you will have a great peer group with whom you can work on startup ideas and stuffs.

Moreover, it also depends upon the student like if your passionate about a particular field then you should go for branch.

Also the main thing is where you are happy, then every thing becomes good :)

Hope this helps!
