HBSE 10th Social Science Question Paper Pattern

The Haryana Board Class 10 Social Science paper includes different types of questions:

• Objective Type (MCQs): 1 mark each, Fact-based, very short questions
• Very Short Answer Questions: 1-2 marks, Answer in 1-2 lines
• Short Answer Questions: 3-4 marks, Answer in about 30-50 words
• Long Answer Questions: 5-6 marks, Detailed answers (around 80–100 words)
• Case Study / Passage-Based Questions: Questions based on a given paragraph
• 6. Map Work: Identify/locate places on the map of India. Usually carries 3-5 marks
