The MP Board Class 8 Hindi paper pattern for 2026 evaluates both theory and practical application. The assessment is divided into two main components: a 60-mark theory paper and a 40-mark Project/Internal Assessment, totalling 100 marks.
The theory paper itself consists of four distinct question types to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the student's skills. First, there are 10 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark, contributing 10 marks to the total. These are followed by 5 fill-in-the-blank questions, also worth 1 mark each, totalling 5 marks. The bulk of the marks comes from the 10 Short Answer Questions, which are valued at 3 marks each, totalling 30 marks.
Finally, the paper includes 3 Long Answer Questions, worth 5 marks each, for a total of 15 marks. This structured approach allows students to show their proficiency in Hindi through both objective and subjective responses.
