You must be aware about the change in CLAT paper pattern this year onwards, the number of questions have been reduced and now, the syllabus of current affairs and general knowledge comprise of contemporary events from Indian and the world, art and culture, international affiar, historical events of continuing importance.

To tackle this section, there are two things to cover, one is the dynamic portion of current affairs for which the best way is to read newspaper such as The Hindu/The Indian Express on daily basis, and especially put emphasis of editorials part, you can install the app for easy access, there are many competitive exam sites which offers questions on daily basis which you can go through, so that you don't have to mug up all information at the time of appearing examination. You can also use magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan, or there are monthly compilations in various competitive exam sites.

Another thing is to deal with static portion of this section, for which you can refer Lucent's GK book or in case you don't have any references, you can prepare from GK Today for this portion.
