The Cutoff specified at the end if the JEE MAIN result is just a marks which guarantees  you to write the prestigious JEE ADVANCED exam for admission to the IITs.

However, you are eligible to apply for JoSAA counselling whichever or whatever you have achieved in JEE Mains examinations.

Counselling for JEE Main only requires a valid JEE scorecard and 65%in HS exam(not for this year).

Because in special rounds too, conducted by CSAB one having ranks >2,00,000 also gets admission into NITs/GFTIs
