It was only till 2016 probably that Neet examination was held separate as a substitute for AIPMT and CMC Vellore conducted their own entrance examination for admission

However it must be mentioned that currently apart from Neet AIIMS and Jipmer examinations there are no entrance examinations to MBBS at the undergraduate level

So for CMC Vellore you need to get a high rank in NEET and then they might conduct their own admission procedure why are interviewing which is completely subject To Thehre regulations and has nothing to do with Neet marks but of course the admission is based on Neet rank priority

Now neet is only exam for mbbs in any states with all india quota.

In cmc vellore , admission is based on neet score , though they take some kind of interview after neet score.

Presently on 3 exams for admission in medical colleges are conducted

CMC Vellore conducts it's own exam which is a computerised exam based in an alloted test centre. The pattern is quite different from NEET examination as logical reasoning, paragraph reading and pattern based questions are also introduced here. A large number of seats are for reserved categories and the number open to general is less. The number of questions in this entrance exam are also much more which demands greater accuracy and speed for fast computational process.

CMC Vellore previous had its own individual exam with an interview process too , but now it is under NEET and hence seat allotment will be based on its ranking

hi Ritika,cmc vellore comes under national eligibility cum entrance exam/NEET UG for MBBS, it conducts entrance exam for other programs like b.sc and paramedical courses. if you are looking for other courses, exam will be during last month of may. hope this helps, good luck.

To my knowledge CMC Vellore conducts his own entrance examination which is tested up on the subjects of physics, chemistry, biology and the number of open on reserve seats is very less possibly less than 10.

The pattern of the examination is essentially same as that of neat although I would say that more objective questions are asked and they are less conceptual and more factual when it comes to a Jipmer or CMC Vellore examination

In the Jipmer examination you also have to answer on English grammar
