In Karnataka, KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is the main exam for government and private colleges.
Your rank in KCET decides which engineering colleges and branches you are eligible for.
Colleges have cutoff ranks for each branch based on previous years’ trends.
Higher-ranked students get admission into top colleges like RVCE, BMSCE, and UVCE. Some colleges also accept COMEDK, JEE Main, or management quota admissions.
