M.Sc. in applied statistics is a very popular course and provides many job opportunities in the future. There are many colleges which provide M.Sc Statistics course in Maharashtra, however only a few of the colleges provide M.Sc in applied statistics as it is considered a more specialized and more descriptive course than M.Sc Statistics. Some of the colleges providing M.Sc applied statistics course are :- Symbiosis Statistical Institute, Pune , IIT Bombay, Mumbai, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management  Studies (NMIMS), under the Sunandan Divatia School of Science and KJ Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, Mumbai.
