hello aspirant,

No matter where you study either NITS or IITS or IIITS or STATE ENGINEERING COLLEGES everywhere civil engineering and electrical engineering is totally different.

Electrical engineeers work on projects like navigation systems, which involve electrical components or systems, wireless communication devices, power, control systems, telecommunications, signal processing, etc but in job prospects electrical enginners enjoy slightly high wages compared to civil ones.

civil engineers work on projects which involve construction of roads, bridges, water supply, sewage treatment, infrastructure like houses auditoriums ,colleges etc.civil engineeers have more opurtunities.the major requirement of civil engineers comes from need to design and build infrastructure like buildings and many other to serve the growing population good.

so both of the branches are better it depends on an individual interest as of in nits there will be good opurtunities i.e top companies recruit engineers so there will be good placements.so you can chose on your interest.

hope this helps,

thankyou.
